Speedo drive gear, which way? (1 Viewer)

Rebuilding my 10/74 transfer case (4speed) and some how lost track of which way the speedometer drive gear was placed on the output shaft? What direction should the output shaft be turning going forward in corilation with speedo driven gear. I realized that it could be turning in reverse if put on upside down which would be disappointing. Hope my question makes since.

Make sure rounded/taper edge of the drive gear spacer goes towards the speedometer drive gear.

Steve, so somewhere between 100 and 150 was the switch to the floating shift rail.

You do realize that you cant run it backwards, that piece is threaded same way so its same whichever end you put on first.
