Searched on this today out of curiosity, I’m at 50,000 since my last plug change, ten years ago.

General vintage LOL

I open the hood in the dark, and if I see arcing between the wires I replace them

Apparently Toyota says 24K miles for the plugs.

If the wires test within the specified resistance and show no signs of cracking or damage they should be fine. Mine are the original wires and over 500,000kms.
Plugs I change every 2 years cause I run on both petrol & LPG however they always look fine when they come out
Rotor button & dizzy cap I have changed once in the life of the car but reckon the old ones are still fine as I changed them just before the HG went and reckon it was the impending HG issue that caused the odd stumbling that I thought was ignition related at the time

I replace wires every 100k.
Spark plugs every 50 k
Fuel filter every 100k
Distributor Cap and rotor Every 50k
Belts when they start squealing!
