The low profile stuff is all mostly the same. It took us longer to get the backbone rails off than it did to install the new rack lol.

The extra reverse lights are really great when backing up in total darkness with the backup camera!
Mine really lights up everything behind me!

Well, the bumper arrived a long time ago, but due to work I just haven’t had time to get the install done. Also picked up a switch pro setup, some Baja designs lights, a midland gmrs setup, and a few other small things that need to get installed. New exhaust and a set of 34s is next on the list.
What little time I’ve had off work lately has been devoted to photography when I can squeeze it in the schedule. Starting some classes soon so I can eventually start making money from it.

With the way your rig is looking, you should be able to find your way into some really remote and spectacular locations for photos!

Finally got the rear bumper on a few weeks ago. Gonna wire the squadrons into the reverse light harness this weekend. It definitely needs a front bumper soon. I found out that the weight on the rear causes the gx to slide around like crazy on muddy surfaces. Need to do the camera and license plate relocation when I get time as well.

Been a while. Life went downhill quick after my last update, but it seems to have all worked itself out. That said, I’ve got a lot of parts inbound and one of them is the victory strike front bumper. Thinking of getting the warn evo 8 or evo 10 winch to go in it. I want to stick to warn if I can. Any of you have one of these in your strike bumper? It honestly won’t get used much, but I want a good winch if I ever need it.
Also ended up ordering new suspension since everything was pretty worn out and the rebuild cost didn’t beat out the fact that I wanted something better. Not letting that cat out of the bag just yet though.
Also looking into tents at the moment. Not sure if the instagram cred is worth the price though.
I’m also past due for a bunch of maintenance stuff so that’s also happening when I take vacation since it’s gonna take a couple days to get it all done.

Re: Winch - I'd go 10k-rated at a minimum. You want 1.5 the GVWR worth of pulling power, and the GX's looks to be 6,600 pounds. The 10k will do the job. I have a Warn VR Evo 12-S on my GX, have used it a few times and love it. Can't recommend Warn products enough, never had a bad experience with them between 4x4s, ATVs, and UTVs. Can't attest to the Victory bumper, though.

Glad things are looking up. I like the Victory Strike. I have a Warn Evo 9.5 in it. I bought a Smittybilt, but took it back before I mounted the bumper on the truck (because the controller got stuck in the control box, grrrr). I did the Strike with no bars, prefer the cleaner look and don't live in 'roo territory. Texas may be different...
No kangaroos but plenty of deer and hogs.

Yeah I remember you having issue with it. I also decided against the bars for the cleaner look. I’m gonna have to dig through the victory thread to get some ideas on winches. Was it you that went with the sso washer reservoir cover?

I did, and it fits great - BUT - I have the poverty-pack version with only 2 pumps on the reservoir, no headlight washers. If your new rig has those, I "hear" the SSO one won't fit, but there's another that will?

New suspension and other goodies from total chaos started showing up. King 3.0 internal bypass coilovers with 700lb springs fro the front and 3.0 bypass shocks for the rear. Total chaos customer service has been outstanding answering questions about adapting this stuff to the gx460 since king hasn’t officially realeased the 3.0 setup for the 460s yet. I had their +2” expedition long travel in the cart and ready to order, but a good friend that will be installing the fronts admitted that even though he loves his long traveled 4Runner, he would’ve went with this setup if it was available when he did his.
Found a warn evo 10 winch locally and will probably pick it up tomorrow or next week if I find time.

I’m pumped to get them on, but with it being sort of a prototype deal I’m hoping it’s not too much of a headache.
