Where abouts did you snap this one? I was up at Guanella Pass a couple of weeks ago and Estes Park last weekend. Some great scenery right now!

We've been in Telluride all week. Those were both from Owl Creek Pass. Between Cimarron and Ridgway.

Everyone,

I'm thinking that it would be really beneficial for us to plan our trip to overlap with the trip JonHaris leads every year (thread below):

https://forum.ih8mud.com/100-series-cruisers/632195-trip-report-second-annual-100s-hills.html

His dates for 2013 are Aug 9-11. Since we have a lot more travel to get there, maybe our trip could be a week long deal, Aug 6 - whenever?

Get there on the Wed before their ride, get settled in, go on some rides, then meet them for the good stuff on the 9th.

Thoughts?

This pic pretty much sums up the reason I want to go...

Bump for more looks...still on the radar.

I'm in 100%. I'd like to see a huge turnout. Whoever moved this to the trips section really killed the traffic. Thanks...

Agree on all counts. Wish I could keep it living in the main 100s section.

I've already started my 'need to do this to the 100 before next summer' list. It's long...

Still planning to be in. It'll be nice to catch up with you guys from the SE and put some faces with those Avatars!

What are the chances an 80 guy could crash the party? I'm going to be in the general area around that time and I'd love to meet up with you all.

Interested. My family and I were already planning a 2-3 week Colorado trip from Kentucky this summer. We will be camping. Subscribed.

Shaping up to be a great trip!

I there a mid-west "meeting" place yet? It would be nice to have a park, or hotel that we all meet at somewhere west of the Mississippi. We could arrive say Thursday night, and stay Friday and leave Saturday at lunch time to give everybody a full day to catch up, or to cover additional ground (such as somebody leaving from Atlanta, to catch up with the Louisiana guys).

This thread needs to have discussion! I am still looking forward to this trip.

I would think we def need to pick a staging city west of the Mississippi, yes. That way we can all meet up and make the rest of the trek as a group. It really depends on where most of us are coming from. If most of the group is from further south, then somewhere along I-20 makes sense. If most of the group is from a little more northern location, then somewhere along I-40 would work as well. I'd be glad to go a little out of my way to meet up...

I'm looking forward to it as well, have already started prepping the 100. On that note, sometime in the spring I'm making the trip to ATL so ACC can convert me from AHC to traditional suspension. Will have to hook up then.

Still thinking we should coordinate our trip around JonHarris' Aug 9-11 (FRI-SUN) run in Ouray.

Most of us will be looking at 1.5 to 2 days of travel. Maybe meet at our staging location on August 6th or 7th? Get there on the 8th, settle in, make an easy run or two. Meet up with the CO group on the 9th. Start the trip back down south on the 12th. Make it a Tues-to-Tues trip, Wed-to-Tues trip, etc?

Just throwing things out there for discussion. Hopefully most of the 27 people in the below list subscribed to the thread.

You are going to have to count me out for this one. I'll be in the Steamboat area the last week of July. I cannot work the August time frame into my work schedule
