I need a brake line 3 way fitting (maybe called a T fitting?) that fits our 80 series.

I tried to order a 90413-10058 (the 3 way fitting that sits under the master cylinder on ABS 80 series) but apparently, those are no longer available. And to be clear, I don't need the bracket that attaches to the master cylinder on the 90413-10058, just the 3 way fitting.

I did an amazon search, but most of the ones that come up look like they were made with a hammer. And I don't fully trust that they really fit our brake lines with their inverted flare ends.

I suspect that any other 3 way fitting from a Toyota truck would work, but I don't know for sure, and I don't have any other part numbers beyond the one listed.

Thanks

Example of what I am talking about:

Don't use brass fittings on brake systems. The copper leaches out of the alloy and contaminates the system. This happens to all brake fluid eventually, but using brass fittings accelerate the process. FWIW, this is what the brake fluid test strips test for.

Go to Partsouq and search other Toyota trucks, they use the same inverted M10x1 flare fitting. They generally provide pictures to verify.
There are many options under more recent years. I ordered a few for the LSPV but went with this and it comes with a bracket you can make work or grind off. If I remember right, this one came from a Tacoma.

Mike,

I went looking for this part number and found it, but I couldn't find a picture of it. So I went and stalked your build thread and found what I think is a picture of it. And I think that after looking at the picture it might be a 90 degree 2-way bend fitting and not a 3-way Tee fitting. Is that right? You can't really see the back side of the part in your picture. I need a 3 way fitting.

The link to your post that I stole this picture from: Builds - Fixing up “The big Ox” - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fixing-up-the-big-ox.1251405/post-14393805

So I did some more searching. I found a few more on ebay, but they all seem to be brass and again look less than ideal. I found some more Toyota parts numbers that may work, but I cannot find a decent picture of any of these parts anywhere.

I don't know why Toyota's parts catalog appears to be illustrated with crayon drawings.

Here are those other toyota options:

90413-10067 from a 2000-2006 Tundra (says its "Way, NO. 1 (for Front Brake Tube)"

90413-10304 from a 2003-2006 Tundra (says its "Way, NO. 1 (for Front Brake Tube)"

90904-13048 from a 2000-2006 Tundra (says its "Way, NO. 1 (for Rear Brake Tube)"

I wish I could find a decent picture of any of these options. They all say "Way, 3" on the screen, but they sort of look like 4 way connections.

Sorry about that, I was going to post that picture even and don't know what I was thinking. Partsouq always had the best pictures but looking at it now, it seems to suck.
Amayama is showing 9041310058 is in stock for $8.45 + probably some ridiculous shipping. May be worth a try.

If you continue to get nowhere, I’d buy all of these through my dealer and return the ones that don’t work and eat the restocking fee or whatever they charge. They might just hook you up depending on the quality of the bro network you have with the guys behind the counter.

I know I have some of these from parting out mini trucks. I just took a quick look in my stash and can't find them....yet. If you have a local pick n pull or salvage yard with Toyota vehicles, you can probably grab a few.

There is a 3 way on the rear axle on my 88 but I don't know if all three ports are inverted flare. One of them is connected to the flex line.

There is also a 3 way attached to a bracket on the passenger frame rail in the wheel opening. It has the inverted flare on all 3 ports. There is most likely one near the master cylinder too.

Thanks, I should probably give the local salvage guys a try.

As an aside, didn't I buy a FJ60 axle from you about 100 years ago? It was to match the front axle that was already on my FJ55. It seems like has been 100 years since I have been to Marana.

I can sell you a 90413-10058 edit, we got @sjpitts hooked up with a different solution, our 90413-10058 order did eventually end up getting fulfilled though :)
