$3k without Slee step sliders
$3500 with the sliders
I picked this up last year with some plans to make it my daily driver. I have so many other projects I hate to see it sit. I bought it from the original owner, well from the shop he always took it to. I have the original title from 1999 ($45k taxable value!). Apparently every time he brought it to the shop for brakes, oil changes, etc, they told him to change the timing belt, and every time he said he "called Toyota and they said you don't need to change it". Yeah, right. Anyway, the timing belt finally went and he sold it to the shop for $200! Yes...$200. I paid a lot more than that, but man...$200! And it has a locker! So it does have over $300k miles, but it looks like all highway miles, the interior is actually in better shape than my 2000 LC...heck the outside is in better shape, too! No "Colorado Pinstriping", I would guess it has never seen dirt.
I was going to at least swap the rear locker over to my 100, but I don't know when or if I will have time for that.
I did see a 2UZ on MUD for around $1200, and you know Robbie (Powderpig) is just up the road in Boulder, and I can't think of anyone else I would take this to for a motor swap.
Trades considered, especially FJ55 and FJ40 parts or trucks!
I will take pics today, but it is Maroon and it also has brand new Pirelli highway tires on it as well.
Bought the Sliders from a local guy who barely used them. They are not on the truck.
