Hi everyone,
I discovered this soft top for the FJ45 pickup and I think it's really nice.

Is there any more information about this soft top, or is it available for purchase somewhere?

Best regards from Germany, Jürgen

I just made these for my 45. Lots of cutting and fabricating to make them work. I took a regular front bow and then chopped the bottom off of it and put new tubes in it. 45 have a smaller diameter tube than a 40. Then cut the b pillar up so that hard doors can work. Running hard doors require you cutting out about 2” of the center tube.

Guessing it was around 2005 or earlier the top minus the bows was up for auction on eBay. Missed out on it but looked into adding on. A down side on the 45s imported to the US by Toyota have a short stub at the B pillar versus the long ones on the FJ40 that the bow extends down into a plate with a hole further down. That second hole adds a lot of strength to the B bow. My thought was the use FST B bow and rear bow make a plate the that wrapped from B pillar to B pillar. Weld the B bow to that plate. Drive side would use the to brackets normally use. Passenger side would need to figure out the fuel fill would be in the way of extending the bow to the floor. Idea is to have the bows as stout as the FJ40 FST bows. Personally like a rear bow at the rear corner so the corner on the top is defined.
