I took this out of my ‘66 before I sold it so I could study it for my 4on the tree Landcruiser project. Well, that project has been and gone, but this fine-shifting transmission is still sitting on one of my pallet racks, taking up space.

Any reasonable offer will take it.😊

Hi Mark, is it true there are 2 versions depending on year and the integrated bellhousing?

I don’t know anything about Stouts. Sorry. I will try to remember to snap a pic.

Ran across this '66 with 4 on the tree beautiful original stout looking for some specific parts on Facebook. I'm glad its far away from me....looks like a rad little around town truck.

Mine ran well enough. Just had a cracked manifold that I couldn’t find a replacement for.

Any interest? This thing is not going back on the shelf. If it’s not sold in a week, the scrap guy will get it. I’m overhauling my shop, and the shelf space has already been reallocated

I would hate to see it scrapped. What do you think it would cost to crate it and ship to IA?

$90 ship with no insurance (85#) to a business address (I randomly picked the charcuterie on Main in Ames) $10 for a double-wall box, $40 to pack it. So, even if you only gave me $10 for the trans, that would be $150.

Hey Mark, let me crawl up under my stout and confirm it's the same bellhousing setup. I'm sure I can think of a few items I need for the FJ40 that we could add to the box as well.

Like to resolve this by the weekend.😊

Hey Mark, I finally had a minute to crawl under the Stout. Looks the same, so I'll take it. Sorry I couldn't respond sooner.

I imagine you're not around the shop on the weekend, so I'll call Monday and we can talk about shipping, other parts, etc. Thanks!

And a pic of my Stout, just for fun. (On the hunt for hubcaps incase anyone who sees this is holding) 😉
