I would have called you, but I can't seem to find your phone number. I took the box to UPS today.
Shipping was over the $90 I guestimated, and that was due in large part because you requested a residential delivery. And between the time it took to go to the store and buy a heavy duty box, the time it took to find a piece of plywood at home and cut it to make an even sturdier bottom for the box, the time it took to pack the box, the time it took to take it to UPS and return to my shop, it was over an hour.
I was seriously depressed by the time I got back to the shop. I haven't been that depressed since 2003, when I considered closing the shop. I just gave away an hour of my life for $40. I think I really should have just thrown this away.
I'd like to chalk it up to a case of charity, but I'm the one who needs a little charity right now. Business is VERY slow. Anyone who's been in tech recently couldn't fail to notice the amount of time Ive had to work on the Karma Cruiser.
I hope you and anyone else reading this will order some stuff for your Cruisers from me soon, and put in a few more plugs when you see other people looking. My name as a resource seems to be falling off the map.
