Back when I first got Internet in 2003, I picked up this jewel (along with about a dozen others) from guys that had taken their stock carbs off back in the day for the ‘power pack’ aftermarket setups that were being sold when the rigs were new. Most of these guys ‘found’ their OE carburetors many years after they’d sold their rigs. This is one of those.

Obviously low mileage, and obviously stored out of the elements, it is one of a few true ‘time capsule’ carbs in my collection. Full teardown, cleaned, detailed, and reassembled by me, it is truly worthy of a top-shelf restoration. I could promote it more, but the pictures say it all. $1200 plus the ride.

Is the accelerator pump boot red or are my eyes playing with me?

I still need one of those solenoid brackets....one day I'll get one.

Good eye Nate. It is a special boot, highly durable, that I got ahold of a while back, and unfortunately have not been able to get any more of. Limited stock, used sparingly
