I'm doing a SOA while swapping Dana 60 and 14 bolt under my 40. It's gone from 'it won't be that bad' to 'holy cow, this is a lot of work'.

I've got the front hangers shortened and have a hole for the bushing in the frame. But can't figure out how to accurately translate the hole to the back of the frame. There's no a lot of room back there. What do people do to get the inside hole precisely lined up?

Ive never done this but I'll throw out an idea. I remember articles showing people using a pole or broom stick across the frame somehow. It's been a while. Maybe take a piece of tube, clamp or tack it directly under your frame below where you drilled your outer holes. Measure up from the pipe on the inside of the frame, mark your inner hole center. Then drill the inner holes.
