Windshield Frame Hole ID (1 Viewer)

I have a ‘66 with a ‘75 windshield frame and I can’t find any information on what these holes are for? They are the ones in the bottom drivers side corner. Anyone know? There’s also a hole on the inside that is roughly the same size as it looks factory but could be a PO modification.

Likely where they had old school spotlights, think police car, that had a handle controling light direction from inside. Not OEM for sure.
