Snoway plow on 80 series

I plowed snow commercially for two decades B4 moving South and never heard of them B4 this thread. Granted the downpressure seems like a good feature, depending on how effective it really is.

It actually works pretty good. Will unload the 80 front completely.

For the record, this is just a used plow that I found on craigslist. Not really particular to them, however I like the fact that it is light weight, easy to hook up and self contained.

Sorry, they claim a higher strength of steel...I have had one on a 1 ton, it weighed about 100lbs less than other plows, but held up just as well..

I went to a Boss 10' V on GMC 5500. I have a Meyer C8 on my Excursion and run a snow blower on my Trackless MT5.

They are a midwestern brand. More so than Meyer.

As for the down pressure.. If you don't adjust it right it can lift the front end of the truck off the ground. The relief valve is adjustable.

edit, I also did not intend to imply that anything was better than another.. just the fact the snoway is a viable option, particularly suited to the 80 series..

not knocking them...just never heard of them B4 so the instinct in me was to think WHO? Prolly a good product that either meets a particular need or fills a gap in the market or they wouldn't be around. Plow on!

That thing kills your approach angle!

No, that thing creates new approach angles! Put some rock teeth on it and class 4 trails become freeways!:D

While driving through PA a few months ago I saw two rusty LC's, a FJ62 and an FJ80, up against the back fence at a Toyota dealer, both with snowplows on them. Wish I had taken photos.

Rexman; IIRC it was the Toyota Dealership in Chambersburg on Lincoln Highway (? Fitzgerald Toyota). They both were parked in the back.
