Smittybuilt xrc winch question for those that own them

Thinking about an xrc for the 80.

For those of y'all that have the xrc's, what do you like about them? What do you not like about them? Would you buy one again?

Mine and few other I have known needs to be opened and the mud China grease they used didn't allow it to pull out easy in free spool, put in some aero shell 22 and works way better for pulling it out in free spool that would be my complaint. Has pulled me out of 4 feet snow and my buddies numerous times, honestly I've only used it for snow wheeling. I have done lot straight pulls and it works. The hook is kinda crappy as far as surface rust but it works. Will probably do a new end on it at some point. I have the synthetic line on mine and it has held up good. I have the 9.5 and it fit no problem in bump it Offroad tube bumper

Used my xrc8 a lot! Had to seal up solenoid pack and changed out grease. Sold it with my Tacoma and bought an xrc12 for my 80.

What do I like? It was free, won it in a raffle. It works.
Would I buy it again? Actually I wouldn't have bought a winch at all, but as I said it was free. It does what it should reliably. I find it useful around the house, pulling stumps etc. The prices are right even if you have to buy it and if I were to buy a winch I would definitely lean towards them.
