Soooo…I’m wondering if anyone’s tried taking a Smittybuilt M1 rear bumper for a FJ Cruiser and DIY make it work to a Second Gen Sequoia…. I swear I’m not smoking crack… 🤣

An FJ is considerably narrower than a 2nd Gen Sequoia, so I think it wouldn't be anywhere close

I figured it wasn’t, but with some additional material, gusseting and fabrication, I’m thinking it’d be fairly easy…
I’m also thinking a Coastal Offroad DIY kit for a 1Gen Sequoia could be made to fit even easier than the M1….

It’s wintertime, my odds of someone giving me an opportunity to make this happen (due to fender bender/rear ending me) are high this time of year. Lol

If you have the skills and time anything is possible.
Personally I'd sell the FJC bumper and put the cash towards a new M1 bumper.

I’ve got neither one on hand, but just thinking outside the box. The rear bumpers on these are hideously large when you start looking at what it’s going to take to fabricate a “offroad” bumper. Big ‘ol fat ass bumper is the only way I can see it looking like. 🤣
