My father has a basement storage space at a commercial building he owns. Plan on storing the truck there this winter. Dropped it off on Sunday to grab one of my other cars. With the roof off I have about 1/2" of clearance to the top of the overhead door. No way I'm getting in with the hard top on. Wondering if there are any smaller wheel/tire options to lower the truck 3-4". Was thinking maybe a set of those small spare wheels you see in some vehicles. Only need to drive about 50' once I put them on.

Was going to try airing down when I swap vehicles again. More worried I'll be running almost flat. Need to turn once or twice to get around columns, afraid if I'm too low i'd roll the tire off the rim.

I think those 175's might work. Thanks

I had a similar problem. I found 4 stock wheels and called a bunch of friends and found 4 free car tires. The goal was to get a stk height 40 with a hardtop to fit thru a pair of french doors 6'8" tall and 6' wide.
Once inside I put it's 32" tires back on. Currently both of my 40's are topless with 4" lifts and 33" to 35" tall tires with stk wheels fit thru that opening. Obviously neither will fit with a top on.

What's missing is your current setup. Hard to recommend when do not know what you have. Are stock with 29" tires and no lift? Also you say clear the door. Is the door opening as high as the ceiling? Are there other beams just as low? If it's just the door could air right the door and air up with a 12 volt air compressor once inside.

Maybe a set of skates - take the wheels off - skate under the door and over to your spot - stack tires.

Running 33's now. I'm assuming there is a lift but not exactly sure how tall. 33's came with the truck when I purchased in February. I'll post pictures of the springs/shackles when I get back this weekend. Barely clear the door, have a few more inches once in the space but there is a lot of drainage plumbing below the ceiling. Just barely clearing that also. Seems to be a bit more room under the piping 1-2" max than the door.
