I just spent the last week or so re-reading the entire thread...time well spent in my estimation. Your craftsmanship is unparalleled; as is your perseverance and your kind willingness to take us all along for the ride. The outcome is beyond anything any of us could have predicted. I couldn't be happier for you Ron. Congrats and Thank you!
 
Thanks Guys, appreciate all the kind comments. Hopefully this Summer, the story goes from building it to fixing problems and then hitting the road. Summer is flying by and it's a long way from being road worthy. I look forward to using it and finding out what works and what doesn't.

Ron, hardwire the charger to one of these shore power sockets and mount it on your bumper.

What bumper! :) Thanks David, I'm glad we're thinking alike. I bought one with the charger, seems to be a clean way of plugging in. Now I need to build that bumper or call Jason for one.
 
Ron, Congrats on a great build and we are all in a bit of awe of your work. Nice example to all of us..

So....when are you taking reservations to build another one? You learned all the tricks on this one,it's got to be easier the second time around. :D
 
Thanks! You know, building a second one would be fun and you're right, I've learned what not to do along the way. I've got some other vehicle projects lined up and I'm not getting any younger or wealthier, but you never know. :) I just need to finish this one!
 
Here's the charger in it's spot. Now I have to cut out holes in Bob's alum. panel so I can see the charger working and getting to the fuse panel. This side will get the receptacle for the fridge, also.

Foil was just there to keep out the dirt daubers until I got all the vent lines run. :)

Those dirt daubers are a pain. I'm spending way too much time cleaning out the brake lines on my 40 project because they decided to nest in them.

I don't suppose you have a shot from underneath. do you?

After wrestling a new fuel tank into my Pig I am really wanting to clean up the back part of my exhaust. It did not make things any easier!

You are not worried about crushing the exhaust on full stuff of the driver side rear?

I started out wanting to use v band clamps, but the muffler has flared ends, that a 2 1/2" pipe slides into, so I went with those band clamps. I only have about 3 miles on it, but everything is holding up. :)
 
So, I've been slowly working over some BobM cargo panels, adding all the little electrical pieces that I might need. I've got Anderson power poles on each side and a fuse panel. The voltmeter and USB ports on the pass. side. The battery maintainer on the driver's side. The speaker grills are used for air circulation and I'll have a remote LED dimmer behind one. The LEDs will be for the RTT and under the awning. Some of the power poles will be used for the National Luna fridge. The two grommets on the pass. side are for the air compressor wiring and air line running to the outside.

Before they get powder coated, anybody have some thoughts on something I'm forgetting.
