We made it to Muley Point and spending the night here. This place is better than I remembered. To get to Muley we drove through the Valley of the Gods, first pictures.

Now we're set up to camp on the point.

That's all the pictures for now. I forgot the extra camera battery and charger at home. My son is sending them to us, but might not have them for the Party. We're heading out in the morning and hope get to camp later in the day. See you all then!

God speed

Spending the night in Williams, Az. an old route 66 town where we spent the night 10 years ago while buying my parts pig, same old road side motel, same room. Tomorrow going to see the wild burros in Oatman. The wagon is running good with no big issues "yet". I think pictures are done until I get the new camera battery in Las Vegas, Tuesday.

The story continues.....

OK, I'm in Vegas and rolling out tomorrow morning without Jeri, but no idea where I'm going. It's hot here and I'm thinking head up towards CO. I've got two requirements, see some cool sheet, have fun, get lost and hopefully don't get arrested. :) Who's counting anyway. I've got plenty of food, water and PBR's that I'm throwing out the window as I go. I'm a Bud man, just need to find my rainbow shirt. 🌈 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🌈

On the road again...

I can see it now, Ron's working farm and petting zoo.
Come see goats, burros, rabbits and more. BTW, how many baby burros did Jeri talk you into getting?

Hey Tim,

Oh man, those babies are cute. Jeri wanted all of them, but she did get to pet some. I'd guess there was @ 50 burros and I believe they all had names.

Conversation on the way out of town.....
Jeri...We'd have to get rid of some stuff to fit a baby in here.
Me...Yeah, you! :)

Figured after you drop Jeri off you'd have an empty seat to fill and a companion
for the drive home

I made it to Jacob's Lake right above the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It's where we gassed up and ate on the Pig Party that year. It's National Forrest all around, so I went down a dirt trail and pitched camp. There are warning billboards out telling of a forest fire in the area, but I don't see smoke, so I guess I'm good. Early night and hit Co. tomorrow. I've got two ribeye steaks in the freezer that Jeri and I didn't get to. :hmm:

I was going to head up to Silverton, but the check engine light came on a second time showing the same code. It says " Lean Bank", so I'm going to try to stay low and see what happens. Jeri made it home from Vegas today without bringing home any Chip in dales "I think" :meh:

Screw the check engine light, she ran good all day and I'm going to the mountains. I didn't make CO. so, I pulled off on a dirt track and found a great spot until I looked at the map and discovered it was on Navajo Nation land. I never claimed to be smart and don't know the rules out here, not to mention I didn't want to wake up tied to an ant hill. Damn shame to, it was a great spot.

In the end I wimped out and got a cabin in the next town with all my hair. :) Working my way to Durango and up 550 to Silverton. Onward!

This wont help you much Ron, considering your type of trombone. However, others could use this in the Google Earth app and see where BIA land is.

I promise that isn't a nefarious file. I guess when you link from Google Drive it doesn't say much on this site about it.
