But real world is prob 10.5- 11.0 city 18 highway and at that point of a build who cares, my boat gets .07 per gallon x 2 engines LOL

If you are spending 150k on a landcruiser I doubt a 1mpg difference is something to worry about.
I get about 12 at best in stop and go city driving, about 18-19 highway so I would have to agree with you guess, I bet that thing weighs a good bit

You misunderstood. I am not buying $150k land cruiser... I want to buy that front bumper for my 2009 if Slee will make it. The Slee Heritage edition is really sweet. I think its the perfect homage to the end of the 200. I hope he builds 20+ of them and they last 10+ years and then I'll buy one. Somehow I felt like the heritage edition was missing something. This seems to be the missing link. The culmination of every idea/design for the 200. What really sealed it was the front bumper.
The stock Heritage edition is a tape and paint "special edition". The only thing it has that is worthwhile are the lighter wheels. It is what manufacturers do to try to keep a vehicle relevant when it is overdue for replacement and they don't want to spend any engineering budget, but they want to goose sales.

What is worthwhile isn’t universal. Some people really appreciate the huge center console storage, true third row delete, and blacked out headlamps with OEM quality and reliability. I would also like the older leather and lack of door moldings, personally. Even the badges. Others might not. Frankly I don’t care if the stock HE is typical from Manufacturers to keep a design relevant at the end of a product life cycle, it is a special edition of an incredible platform before things will likely change a lot.. I think one day they will be sought after.
Yes it would be nice to see toyota offer something like this from the factory but we all know that will never happen as long as toyota is Toyota, and this leaves an opportunity for Eric and Slee to shine. They knocked it out of the park!
I like the front bumper but curious why they didn’t design it to replace the entire front plastic bumper section...referring to the area where headlight washers are located, so no cutting is needed. I’m sure it’s built better vs. the Rhino as it appears to be a one piece bumper...I could be wrong but Christo doesn’t skimp on build quality. I would really like to see a bit bigger “more pronounced” front bar loop similar to the Rhino.

There is a lot of things I like about the HE from Toyota. I was thinking about ordering an HE at the time I got my 2019 from Eric, but decided I did not want to wait. I had some modifications at the time I bought mine. I was not sure about the cool box at first but the more I use it the more I like it during summer. The more I see the Slee rear bumper the more I want one. The new front looks great and will be interested to see how that gets implemented as a regular product.

A different take:
To me, this design (with bumper material fill-in) implies it MAY be adaptable to the taller headlights of the 2008-2015 front end.
This adaptability would be a VERY smart move on Slee’s part IMHO.

Exactly. Plus some customers might want to keep the headlight washers in place.
Edit: also, it may be an aesthetic design decision. Personally I think that strip of body color under the headlights works great. If that were all solid black metal...
And based on most people’s reactions I’d say they got it right.

Agree. If the trim wasn’t in place, the black wouldn’t be aesthetically pleasing, however you can still use the headlight washers if cutouts are made. TJM has a full front replacement with headlight cutouts. This Slee bumper is a one off design. Slee still may tweak the design of the front bumper. I’m happy to have another option come next fall when my rig goes back to Eric for some more upgrades

just finished watching a TFL Youtube this morning, great looking vehicle and another awesome build!! Interesting about the gear ratios on the rear, must have changed the USA models as the Aus still have the larger gears. TFL Slee/Heritage
