When you dress like that out in the shop I'll start to worry!
Russ, I just picked up a Coleman Mil-spec lantern dated 1965. The globe is 4 sections and it is multi-fuel. That was the year my Dad landed in DaNang so I'm gonna restore it and keep.
In case anyone is bored this Friday night aka tomorrow, there is a group of us going out to the drag strip. I'm taking the MR2 and my buddy just finished the install of a turbo on his 83 Supra. It's pretty darn quick so we are gonna slug it out to see who has the biggest nuts. If he's faster I'm gonna pull the line to my boost controller and let the turbo sing! It came off accidentally for several months when I first got the car and it'll go to about 23 psi and gets stupid fast! Can't wait! I don't even have a guess as to what our times are gonna be. I'll be happy if I can hit 13's, this will be my first time ever at the drag strip.
We had unfortunate life changing event this past April that forced us into a third row vehicle. Jessica's father was unexpectedly killed by a rear backhoe tire that failed during putting air into it. ( crazy I know, I responded to it, not a good day)So with that being said, Jessica's grandmother lives next to us, and with three kids we needed the extra seat space so she could travel with us. So we just picked up an 04, 137000, great maintenance history, iron man lift, 200 series wheels, slee sliders, from Arizona. Drove it home yesterday, did some light wheeling checking out all the functions. So far I love it. Looking forward to AC on our up coming trip.
That is truly sad, I've moved back from vehicle tires while inflating knowing that is a possibility.. May God be with your family.
The rig looks like a good fit for your crew.
