Yesterday on N Phoenix and Barnett I saw a blacked out FZJ80 with a Subaru STI hood scoop. Think the truck had a little lift to it too. Anyone know him? Thought it was kinda neat looking, it was a similar style and could be the same one that I used to deliver to on Mt Ashland that was completely blacked out and had "turbo" on the rear hatch.
Scoops are great for ice cream and news stories but on a hood you're trying to see over crawling...??? I had a lifted Chevy Blazer for awhile and just the stock hood made visibility suck! It was so bad Hickey made an aftermarket hood that gave you an extra 2 1/2 inches which was about a foot on the ground. It's the main reason I don't have a scoop on my '62....!!!

3FE motors for being "known" as a tough motor blah blah, they are finicky lil c*nts(british accent). a pin hole in the intake tube can cause some havoc.. ask me how I know
