Thank for the reminder of I need to go pick up that ac belt. Doh.

My kid will be getting rid of his little 01 celica in a month. It's a 5 speed, salvage title with 130k on it. Runs and drives great, it'll be $2k when the time comes.
Also have a friend getting rid of a 99ish camry 4 cylinder at the end of August. I purchased the car for them about a year ago, I don't recall the mileage on it but it'll be around $1500ish. It was a good car and I can find out more if he's interested.

Ya but don't think my location will help you out!

What's wrong with this picture?

1. I am taking a picture while operating a motor vehicle
2 .There is a 70 series in Grants Pass
3. It looks like they are camping in Winco's parking lot- you only camp in Walmart's lot..
4. IT'S not mine!

That's my buddy from Bend. He's an electrician and drives that thing all over Oregon for work. He's got a sweet 100 series too. This pic was 2 years ago right before he moved back to Bend. He had the 70, fjc and fj60 all at once. Now he just has the 70 and 100.

He just told me it wasn't him. He said he's seen several around in Oregon. That importer/seller in bend must be doing well.

Hey guys I have a question about driveshaft balancing. I notice on my rear shaft there is a balance weight on both the yoke at the T-case output and also one on the driveshaft itself. Are these 2 pieces balanced separately or assembled as a unit..?? The weights don't line up in either "phased" position.

The weights are put on as needed and have no relationship to the phasing except that the shaft should be marked before disassembled so it is 100% the same as balanced. I don't know if the splines allow you to assemble it 180° off from the original balanced positioning..

yaa they do and since I've never bothered marking them the few times I've had them apart I guess I'll just trial and error it. The weights on the yoke and shaft will either be together on one side or opposing. I'll try both and see which feels better. I also found a little play on the output flange that I fixed.

So not fair, that is beautiful.

Damn! :censor: cool

Xfer case brake!!!!

Aussies can't legally spring over a non spring over rig, lifts are very limited legally. This must be part of the drive behind such a big $$$$$ kit.. super awesome. I don't think it would work on an IFS!!
Cool stuff!!
