Simple 3FE Desmog Question (1 Viewer)

I am assuming its acceptable to just cap this line? I am pinched for time and rather than remove that air rail completely, I shortcutted it and just capped the end.

good enough, i capped mine, been 4 yrs..no problem

Save whatever you remove. All that stuff is discontinued and some day someone is going to want it. Capping the check valve in that manner is enough to keep the insides clean. If the check valve sealing function fails that cap will be blown off by exhaust gas.

The air pump (I think that's what its called - the belt driven part) moves freely and no noise. Truck ran excellent with it on, but I just wanted to simplify things.
