I honestly think the white one looks pretty badass with those wheels and the widebody kit. Obviously never going off road. But if Karen showed up at soccer practice looking like that, it would grab my attention, and not in a bad way. :grinpimp:

Here are a couple. 18 inch black rhino with 37x12.50 Toyo ATs. Wheel spacers front and back, lots of cutting and hammering, 2.5 inch OME lift

Looks like Michelin Defenders 275/70/18s? Had those on my 2013 LX (275/60/20s)….just picked up some TRD Pros like yours and thinking about the same size set up on my new to me 2017 LX. How you liking your set up? Thanks! Looks sweet btw.
Yes sir that's what they are. I really do like them... performance-wise.

I'm not gonna lie. I do miss the burlier look of the Wildpeaks I had on my 100 and I get big lug envy when I look at other rigs... but I also appreciate the refined road manners of the Defenders more. I've done some light off-roading and wet road driving and they've been champs. I'm in Houston so they haven't seen any ice or snow. It's pretty much what that Defender thread says: they're the best tire for 99% of people if you can get over not looking like a boulder baller.

Agree with everything you said there. I’ll post a pic once I get my wheels/tires installed.

It looks like the rig is waiting for new shoes before it goes "off road" in this picture.
Well, I loved the Michelin Defenders on my ‘13 LX (275/60/20), but wasn’t quite man enough to do it again (probably would have if there was a 33” option for the 21” wheel). Alas, I dropped some Cooper Discoverer AT3s (275/70/18) on 18” TRD Pro BBSs. Love the look and the ride is quite supple considering the aggressive look, feels like a smooth AT with very minimal road noise. Appreciate all the info in our forum. Whatcha think? Here’s a pic in Normal AHC. I’ll get some more pics after I get her cleaned up a little more.

2018 tundra trd (not pro)
Hi

first post here. Your LX looks amazing...

Glad to be part of this community and in the process of putting on Tundra TRD 18inch wheels on my 21 LX. Could you let me know which hubcaps you are using and where could they be sourced from? Also did you have to do any mods for them to fit?

TIA

Thanks! I like it too.

No mods are necessary to fit the wheels. The 295/70r18 tires do require wheel spacers, running board trimming, mud flap removal and fender liner massage.

The hub caps are the Toyota caps that come with the wheels. I removed the burrito logo and replaced them with a Lexus L sticker from eBay.

Nothinghead is correct.

My tires are 275/70/18s and just clear with no mods.

Good luck w your mods, post pics when you get your new set up.
