Breakfast is 1 mile from my house. I'll PM you.

looks like the U-Haul car hauler is too narrow, only about 70’sh. They offered the dolly, but using that seems like a pain. Have to mentally sort this out

I have a ‘78. Here in Phoenix it would have to pass smog test or register it as a classic vehicle(under 5K miles per year). If in Yavapai County and some others there is NO emissions testing. More pics please and good luck to you!

I spoke with TN and got the info I needed, and I think I’m good. Trying to figure out how to transport now is the issue. Too wide for a U-Haul trailer

Anyone know the approx width is from outside the tire to the other side. I won’t be out with the car for a couple weeks. Didn’t know if someone that has one similar could give me a general idea

33x10.50s on stock steelies... 66"

Call Aaron @Riverrunner at Summit Transport out of Colorado. Cruiserhead and great guy to work with.

I stopped by and got some pics of the car. Picking up on Saturday...hope I am not being stupid with this purchase

Unless the body is full of bondo, that Cruiser is worth at east 10k.

The hood can be fixed fairly easily.
Since the tub isn't original, I'm guessing it's clean.
The underside looks good (considering we can only see a little, that's up for judgment)
Your bezel isn't upside down.
Lots of new stuff bolted on.
New tires.
3 shifters.
Looks like maybe new tie rod ends.
A V8 sure makes touring more enjoyable.
If it starts well, runs well, and stops well, you've got a winner for that price. At least in Middle TN you do.

Not sure, I have a folder with about 12k in upgrades. Is one better than another or a way to tell?

Glad to see you posted more pictures. It really helps to have under frame pictures. But everything looks good, I do see a little corrosion on the bottom inside of the rear doors.

Don't second guess yourself, you know its a chunk of cash and something used always has some bugs to work out. If you haven't already, a good mechanic giving it a once over is always good. It looks like the PO put some love into it. Now its your turn..

Enjoy the ride, Glad to hear your getting it.
