Should I buy this 62?

Is this truck priced well at $15,500?

Bought mine about 25 some odd years ago with 80+ k miles for $8500ish. Guess that was a screaming deal. And have since invested over $25k......been a fun ride.

I forgot to answer the question..
.it's a bit over priced....you will definitely end up spending some $$$$ on it. Make your case to save a few $$$$ and be prepared to reinvest. Suspension for starters is $1.5k easy.

Here's my .02¢

Landcruisers are on the rise for sure. Buying a truck like this is not done from the rational side of the brain ok. This is a sensory/want category item. SoMething about these makes us "happy" and that is worth paying for. If you are considering $10-15,000 for a "want" than you have your answer already. That truck is pretty nice in the pics and likely has the same issues that they all do. Underpowered (and you'll want to spend to address that), vacuum issues, rust spots, woefully bad brakes, tires suspension, outdated interior etc... This all costs $$. The post before mine said he's into his $25k since buying and I'd imagine, that money spent made him happy. Go for it and have a hobby!! For what it's worth, you're at or beyond the top of the market for a clean truck and id probably like to see more kit for those dollars (assuming you want trail gear, maybe you don't...). You could have bought that in so-cal for 5-6k two years ago and now I see crappers for 10-20k all day. I decided to import a diesel HJ61 and paid 15k FYI... Had to do wheels and tires, OME and various little things on top of that, but I'm HAPPY!! if you have it, spend it on what you want and don't worry about the "value" because value is relative...

Otherwise, get a jeep (ewwwwwwww).

Cheers!
