I've seen some of you post pics, where you had used brass (I Think ) shims inserted in your steering control arms on the front knuckles when using 60 control arms and the stock 40 tre's. Where can I find these and do you have the part number. I thought someone said they got them at NAPA. Any help would be great. Thanks.

it's a starter bushing. iirc, luke at 4x4labs sells them in the correct taper and steel

Hi all,

You can also source these taper bushings from Georg @ Valley Hybrids.

I used the brass bushings - we'll see if I wind up regretting it. The steel shims offered by some of the vendors are most likely "best" but kind of spendy at $15 each. The Chevy Starter Bushing (Part # SB0 or 4200B, depending on the manufacturer) is something like $2.50 and has gotten the job done for many mudders.

Thank you all, for your info. I will look into all resources. You guys rock.
