Shelf life of paints & primers (1 Viewer)

Is there a shelf life for unopened gallons automotive paints and primers? I have a couple of gallons that have been sitting in a utility room that has been somewhat temperature controlled. I was told by a residential paint guy that these may not be good anymore. True??

Check with the manufacturer. I'm in the middle of paint right now and I saw information about shelf life on activator and I think the paint too.

That info should be in the paint docs. Do a search on you brand and type of paint and it should pull up.
