I wonder what it would if you have a nomad valve body?

I believe the Nomad should keep things cooler anyway... as by design it seems to allow for far more as well as "on-demand" lockup.

of course it would! I love mine and the trans temps drop immediately when I hit the button.

The Nomad valve body and lockup switch is probably one of the best mods you can make for a heavy GX or one that sees towing. I can't imagine towing our camper without it now. It literally gave me 2 mpg better than before, which is almost a 20% increase in fuel economy. Trans stays nice and cool too.

Link for the Nomad valve body? Better yet specific PN used and what year is your GX?

My GX is a 2007 with the 5 speed. I ordered it from Cruiser Brothers in CA. They are the only US distributor. It's not listed on their website so you need to contact them directly to order.

Here are the actual product links from AU for what I used. I am not sure if they have a 6 speed version (if you have a 460,).

I have some additional info on the installation on my build thread. There were a few issues getting the lockup switch installed.
