So, I have been thinking about this for a long time..for many reasons.
So, today I purchased a Sequoia transfer case..I really want to have the ability to have 2wd....I would also do a front axle disconnect from a tundra or sequoia..
My hope is that this can be a clean somewhat easy conversion...using the Toyota electronics..
Worse case..scenario...I have seen on a tundra forum using Manuel cable shift actuators..to shift

Looks like trasfer case plugs, pins on connections are the same believe it or not..
I know i would have to also swap transfer case control module... and 2wd , 4wd control knob/switch..

Seems i would need to reprogram t case control module once I install sequoia module??
I do know the wiring on the 2wd/ 4wd
Control knob/ switches are different between vehicles .. that obviously would have to be addressed..
Any help with wiring schematics etc would be greatly appreciated!

There is a ton of knowledge in this group! I'll need all the help I can get! 😆

Why do you want 2WD? I have a 2025 Taco with 2WD/4WD and I wish it had AWD with center diff lock like my 200.

If I recall, the front axle disconnect from the Tundra/Sequoia front diff (ADD) protrudes to much and would interfere with the steering rack. I believe @bjowett pioneered this route many moons ago, if I am not mistaken. I dare not say impossible, but a "weekend project" for sure!
 
I’d advise driving yours with the CDL engaged and front driveshaft removed to test out the dynamics before going too far with this.

I suspect it’s a combination of power level, short wheelbase, and slinky suspension.. but our vehicles aren’t very stable under power in RWD. Even in dry weather. In the wet it’s downright sketchy.

Seriously, if he didn't insist on living on the back side of BFE, Toyota would have made him Chief Engineer!
 
The third mount on the steering rack does unbolt, worst case the tabs that mount it to the rack body would need to be trimmed, then the diff actuator should clear. Since the Tundra makes do with two mounts, perhaps the 200 can, too.

The front Sequoia drive shaft will be required, as well as shortening the rear.

Both of the 4WD Control ECUs from their respective vehicles look the same and appear to have the same harness connectors. A harness for the diff actuator will need to be sourced or built and run up the ECU and pinned into the LC connector. Since they appear to be the same, I’m assuming the location exists, but simply isn’t used in the LC connector. Other pin outs in the connector could be different and need to be switched, not likely, but you’ll need to research that through wiring diagrams.

Another option is manual hubs, they can be built for the 200. I got pretty far on on a set for the Tacoma using LC sized parts… never finished to see how well they worked. I have a pic but the server says to try again later.

AWD certainly produces a more stable vehicle given the wheelbase. 2WD will be hoot with stability turned off.

Kind words, but there are plenty of folks around here doing (and completing!) the same types of mods.

Probably explains why Jeep went to the all wheel drive T case on the 392 wrangler

The MP3022 in the 392 uses a clutch or viscous coupling, can’t remember but I have read and seen many failures at low mileage (30-50k) especially when towing. The popular swap and what I would do if I ever bought one is call advance adapters and swap in an Atlas 2 twin stick.
 
Another option would be to source the multimode transfercase from the Sequioa, then you would have everything. 2wd, 4wd open, 4wd locked, 4lo open, and 4lo locked. With manual front hubs you can even have 2lo.
