That it!!!! Im kneeing at the meeting until I get some understanding
Just a heads up for you guys going through Payson. Catchin a Dream archery shop about 3/4 mile or so South of the intersection of 260 on the left going North just got a bulk shipment of .22LR ammo in, and said there was no limit on purchases. So you might want to stock up a little.
So I'm in for sure. I don't know if anyone is keeping a head count or anything. Probably only going up for the day. Bringing wife and kids.
Bringing a couple pounds of carne asada and some assorted fixings. Plus normal beverages, etc. Going to bring up a 3 burner camp stove for the carne asada. If anyone needs to cook or heat stuff up it's plenty big to use for a couple things.
Let me know if there is anything else needed.
It's been in the mid thirties the last couple of nights at 7,000'. I know it's warmer in Payson area but is a lot cooler then the valley. Plan on bringing warmer cloths especially if you plan to camp.
Wednesday cut and split around a half cord. Yesterday my wife found a mother load of down oak and cut a cord of good solid oak. Active retirement in the valley would be golf and shuffle board. Neither of those in the area so find to find something to stay active. My wrist is not happy with me for using the chainsaw that much. Between splitting and stacking then getting ready for roofers who are suppose to come Monday if I come it will be just for the run.
Those wrist dont get the routine exercise they once did when you were younger, ehh.![]()
Have eaten at both the Beeline cafe and the 260. Both are worthy. Phil once mentioned a Mexican restaurant that had huevos rancheros.
My son, in scouts, always stopped at Alfonso's the Payson version of Senor Taco.
I say traditional, Beeline Cafe gets my vote
