Looks like my kids are coming down with something so I'll be alone this time. Probably not staying the night but want to hold out until the pot luck. ;)

I'm in for breakfast!

I will pick up some refries and rice. Maybe some fresh corn tortillas if anybody likes corn instead of flour.

Maybe some water, beer, soda. " This is Gonna be great " Flounder

Just a heads up for you guys going through Payson. Catchin a Dream archery shop about 3/4 mile or so South of the intersection of 260 on the left going North just got a bulk shipment of .22LR ammo in, and said there was no limit on purchases. So you might want to stock up a little.

Cost?

So I'm in for sure. I don't know if anyone is keeping a head count or anything. Probably only going up for the day. Bringing wife and kids.

Bringing a couple pounds of carne asada and some assorted fixings. Plus normal beverages, etc. Going to bring up a 3 burner camp stove for the carne asada. If anyone needs to cook or heat stuff up it's plenty big to use for a couple things.

Let me know if there is anything else needed.

NICE!

It's been in the mid thirties the last couple of nights at 7,000'. I know it's warmer in Payson area but is a lot cooler then the valley. Plan on bringing warmer cloths especially if you plan to camp.
Wednesday cut and split around a half cord. Yesterday my wife found a mother load of down oak and cut a cord of good solid oak. Active retirement in the valley would be golf and shuffle board. Neither of those in the area so find to find something to stay active. My wrist is not happy with me for using the chainsaw that much. Between splitting and stacking then getting ready for roofers who are suppose to come Monday if I come it will be just for the run.

Those wrist dont get the routine exercise they once did when you were younger, ehh. :flush:

Maybe in my case too much exercise. That's what I'm having surgery on in a week. Believe the doctor thought I was crazy when I asked what restrictions I would have after, if I could still wrench on vehicles and use a chainsaw?:meh:

Thinking about bringing my 4 legged furry kid. Any one else bringing pooches that don't like other pooches? Mine is small quiet and friendly. Just don't want to contribute to a camp nuisance of any sort. Thx.

Last minute deciding to probably tag along on this party, it sounds like too much fun. Hoping the 100 stock height will be ok;
I'm sure if there are options we'll be fine. Anyone think we'd run into trouble? Would bring the lifted 80 but too embarrassed to show the threadbare BFGs in public... Haha. Just need to suck it up and drop $1500 at discount tire this evening. Lol

We would be up for camping, bringing the boyfriend and friendly dog, and also bringing anything else needed for the potluck? Maybe I could try my hand at a Dutch oven cobbler, although it would be pure experimentation, so beware.

Have eaten at both the Beeline cafe and the 260. Both are worthy. Phil once mentioned a Mexican restaurant that had huevos rancheros.

My son, in scouts, always stopped at Alfonso's the Payson version of Senor Taco.

I say traditional, Beeline Cafe gets my vote

Do we have a set time and place for Breakfast tomorrow morning in payson?

Departing the gas station by the casino at 715 so I'm guessing we will be at the restaurant by 815. Look at the post by Murf. Beeline cafe maybe @murf can you clarify.

A stock 100 will be fine, there is always a way around the obstacles.

Carne Asada, yum. Picked up some refried beans and rice plus 2 dozen corn and 2 dozen flour tortillas. We should have more than enough food for the entire enterauge.
