I'll be heading up Friday night after work and look for y'all - probably between 6 and 7.

If our annual environmental testing runs late I probably won't make it all the way to the "Camp Site", but I will try.
sounds good, we want to get there mid morning Friday so we can relax:cheers: . be on the look out for a white 200 and a green 80 in camp, possibly a 60 if the in laws come. :D

Is the run happening Saturday or Sunday?

Have eaten at both the Beeline cafe and the 260. Both are worthy. Phil once mentioned a Mexican restaurant that had huevos rancheros.

My son, in scouts, always stopped at Alfonso's the Payson version of Senor Taco.

I say traditional, Beeline Cafe gets my vote

Hoping to make it but depends on how much firewood we have by the end of the week. If I go it may be just for the day or like Murf out first thing in the morning.

Sooo...browsing the thread i counted possibly 14 camping saturday night ? Looks like I better make more green chili and the bigger camp stove :hmm:

should be a fun weekend! :)

That's so nice! Thank you, the offer is very much appreciated, but cooking is my hobby and I don't get to do it often so it's our pleasure. I hope everyone likes it. :)

the first batch has a kick, maybe I'll mild this 2nd one down a tad :D

CSC supports members with hobbies outside of Land Cruisers and food always gets my vote.

Saddletramp has volunteered tortillas what else can be added to lighten your load?

Its a little early for me to commit but I dont want to miss out so add at least one more to the list.

Count us in for the run, sounds like a great time. We will be with our 80. It will be me, my wife and our dog. We will be there for the day. See you there.

Hope you all have an awesome time on this run. Some of my best early memories with the club are camping up there, night runs, collecting fossils with the kids, enjoying a good bourbon at the campfire. Damn. Next time!

I gassed up a few times at the Maverick and don't remember a very big pafking area that isn't right in front of market. Even the pumps are only single deep. Do we know they have enough parking for a large group? Home Depot is just a little ways up 87 and has a much larger parking lot.

We met up at Home Depot last year for the large group on Phil's ROTM.

Another run I really want to go on and can't make. Just moved into a new home and work is killing me. Oh well, will be all the hungrier when I finally can break lose.

We could use plates, utensils, napkins, cornbread, maybe some tortilla chips with salsa. Guacamole, sour cream, some kick ass hot sauce.

Just throwing out some ideas for the gang. I may pick up a bunch of beans at a local Mexican restaurant.

Ill handle the cornbread, plates/bowls, utensils, and paper towels if others can get some of the other items...?
