I'ma getting HUNGRY!
Its all sounding good, folks. I'm bringing chips with the salsa and chile. Will try to make some guac as well. What I'm not seeing is fruit (watermelon or canteloupe would be groovy). And I 2nd Steve on veggies and dip...we need more finger (but limit the junque) food. Jon is bringing condiments but no veggies...hmm, is he such the botanicanilihist that he's strictly a carnivarian who shudders to kill a green thing

Dave, fixed for you. Don't you know that guys that work with plants, flowers, etc. are sensitive.
Good joke but I think Steve has the veggies (and cheese?) to go with the burgers
Actually, I hadn't planned on getting veggies - just meat. I think veggies and dip are what we're short on. I"ll get some more buns though.
Sorry gang. I am not going to be able to make the cookout. I got roped into teaching a weekend class at UNM, they were desperate for an instructor and I think I was the only one who actually answered the phone. I was slated to bring beans. I will try and make it, but it will be late if at all. Hope you have a good time. My work keeps getting in the way of my fun...
I'll see what I can round up for our fiber needs.
Looks like we may need more grill space. Anybody else have one they can bring? We can bring our little tabletop unit, but that's only good for about a quarter of a *real* grill...

I believe there are grills at the shelter. Charcoal?
I have a propane grill but no way to get it there. If anyone on the NW part of ABQ has a means to transport it then let me know.

I think Jon is correct. We'll bring our little BBQ and some charcoal.
Last time i was there they had them. I would take a small grill that I had but just looked and it is gone. I'll pick up some charcoal to just in case.
