I am stuck in my planning and am seeking some advice.

The goal on my 40 is 3 link front and 4 link rear and use coil overs. It seems that most people who do it tube out the front and rear leaving only the original frame center section. I don't want to cut up my frame as it is in great condition so I was thinking of building a new frame. I love what Campbell Ent did here:

I want to keep my tub fairly intact and use the above bolt through idea. However the reason people state when they tube the front and rear is that the rectangular frame gets in the way.

I just don't know if I can shape the rectangular frame members to clearance the coilovers or not. This makes me think an all tube frame makes more sense. I think it would be lots harder to make a strong tube frame that allows the tub to be bolted in, though.

What do you all think? Lets hear your ideas. Wish I could make pics to show what I mean... don't have any software for that :hmm:
