Second row radio replacement with power outlets (1 Viewer)

I thought I’d share, but I have replaced the second row radio with power outlets, clipping into the factory wiring harness. Check it out! It was pretty simple to do. Took a while to find the correct clip (so I didn’t have to cut up the old harness).

A quick 3D print and some minor wiring later and I have something useful to replace the second row radio.

This now gives the second row two USB-C and two standard USB charging ports!

What have you done to improve your 100 series? Any ideas on what to replace the DVD player with?

Excellent! I think I have a blank panel there that's a great update. Was just looking into doing this in one of my center console switches. Curious to see if the ports will still work with some tan/similar color spray paint to help blend in and kill the LED light

When I dropped in a GROM unit, my DVD player had to go (it was a PITA anyway). The weird hole left in the center console was perfect for a power inverter and made it a lot easier to access/use.
