Well I painted my 71 Nebula Green (urethane) and was happy for the most part. Good color saturation but applied somewhat clumsily (thick heavy) to say nothing of all the PITA respiratory protection. Fast forward 5 years and it is time to paint my 63, Decided on a color close to Dune Beige. It is a PPG industrial enamel coating that, I can say now is FANTASTIC!!! Primer sealer and paint were about 70 bucks cheaper than the urethane alone. Interesting fact: the hardener acts as a retarder in this configuration. At 85 degrees (4AM:eek:) it was dry to touch in 10 minutes.

So... Pics First the 71 for those who forgot.

Some of the reassembly.

Now is the time to tell everyone that I love to drive my 40 and absolutely can not be without it for more than a week without it on the road. That being said frame off nut and bolt restorations are not my bag so both of these are 4-5 day turnarounds and that is cool with me.

Looks like a great paint job thus far! Can you detail what kind of prep you did for your workspace?

I like it! I too like the 3m dual cartridge mask.
