Got the first layer of paint on and it ended up being in the wrong color. Second picture has the color sample next to it.

After a couple of emails with Eric at monsteliner, he got me hooked up with everything I needed. The third picture is a comparison to factory color.

Looking good Jeff. Mustard is a great color.

mounted up other parts because I think it would be easier to paint them

Well parts are starting to come in, parts are at the machine shop, and the top is done.

Looking good

Looking really good Jeff... What paint did you use for the top?

Almost 3 gallons and I am done. I also ordered SOR hardtop gasket kit. http://www.sor.com/cat108.sor

I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is a running, driving land cruiser.

I like that you painted your wheelbarrow to match your Cruiser.

Started reworking the spare tire carrier so it will fit a 35 inch tire.

Cool

So, did you move the tire mounting plate inboard to keep the spare from protruding past the D/S 1/4 panel?

I have my 35" spare on a stock carrier...so wasn't sure why you modified.

Leaving it black or going to mustard it?

Yes I moved it in and I moved it up. The center of a tire carrier is 17 and a half inches to the hinge and from the center to the bottom is 18 inches. I am not sure why yours fits, but a 31 I had on there was getting close to the bumperets.

I have no bumperettes!

That would explain it. Preciate the pics. Oh, yes I'm going to leave it black.
