Got the hood and windshield frame pre-preped. Also, does anybody know what that metal tube is for and what the whole right next to it is also for?

WINDSHIELD WASHER....OTHER END SHOULD BE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE NEAR HINGE.........AIN'T ON THE HOOD ON THESE NEWER ONES.......HOLE IS FOR THE NOZZLE

Ah. I must have an old hood because it has a hole for a nozzle. The vehicle was in an accident in its earlier life. Thank you.
 
My 79 had a hole in the hood as well, but it actually has a fake window squirter in it. Butch is correct. The line and hole are for the factory window squirter.
 
My 82 has a fake one in the hood as well
 
Wow never seen speaker holes in the rear doors like that :-/
 
Yeah, it's inconceivable why somebody would cut a hole in a door when a flush mount system could have been used . Oh well, not an issue anymore. I hope after a light application of body filler and fresh paint you won't be able to tell it was ever there. Stay tuned...
