I’m a 50/50 but will try to make it. Chip

Hey guys stoked to hang tomorrow night.

I just bought wheels and am picking tires up tonight. I have always just bought tires at the tire shop. What is my best way of betting these mounted and balanced? Should I mount them and then have them balanced? Or should I just pay someone to do it? Oh, I need TPMS sensors too.

I mounted and static balanced the current set 275/65r18 on my own. I did that to justify the purchase of a Tpms computer and be able to run two sets. Those tires were lt 125 load and hard to mount.
My new set 129 load and I couldn’t get them on by hand. Not even the first bead which is really easy usually.
Pep boys was 21$ a tire to mount balance and dispose with tax. They can also clone sensors if you opt for that.

I’m 50/50 two kids down with flu. :princess: May need me to hold down the fort

Tell the guy at the front desk you are with Kyle.

Good times last night fellas! It was great to meet everyone that made it. We are going to try to make this recurring. Is everyone OK with Wednesdays, it sounds like that is best for some folks.

Anyone Opposed to Wednesday? We might want to avoid Backfire nights this summer. Second Wednesday of the month, unless y'all are down to check out some bikes. But the whole place is pretty busy.

Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly? My wife and I have a deal I get one night a week at The Shop. So Tues, wed and thurs work best mid week and all.

So everyone knows, I get two free guests per visit and it is $10/person every person over that. Only if we use the private space we reserved this last time. It was nice but there is a ton of space we can use for free. And we can try different places. I wish I were b\Baller enough to cover that. But I did just come down with a #overlandaddiction ;)

Thank you @RainCityCruiser for coordinating the night. I had a great time and I liked the venue. I was surprised by the mix of cars. A dirty FJ40, overland ready 60 series, run down International Scouts, a few Defenders, a Mercedes G500 4x4x2, mixed in with a few million dollars of supercars. Short of actually being on the trail, it was a great place to talk about our vehicles.
I would vote for Tuesdays. Once a month. Wednesday would be second choice. It would be nice if the gathering was family friendly. I did not check if the Derby restaurant/bar allowed kids. I don't think we need the private room. There appeared to be a lot of room up front. As your mentioned, maybe you can sneak one or two people in the garage each visit. I had my turn.

As far as upcoming local events that I know about:
May 11th - Adventure Tacoma - Hosted by Northwest Overland
June 20 to 23 - Northwest Overland Rally. I signed up again. Hope to do some of the trail rides.

I am available most Sundays coming up (+ late Sat afternoon). May 19th, June 2nd, 16th? I would be interested in a day trip or overnight to Colockum/Quilomene Wildlife Area - A subjection of this is right off of I90 - Or the Moses lake sand dunes. Or Tahuya again.

And there are family friendly areas there. The whole front area with low tables and couches is open game as far as I know.

At this point I am looking good for May 19th and June 2nd but we have family stuff on the 16th. I could pos. do an overnight if my wife and daughter aren't coming or my wife has a Monday off.

Hey all Looking for an alignment shop used to truck alignments. Familiarity with LXs and large diameter tires a plus!

I’m super close to adventure ready. Does anyone have experience with them?

I've used these guys in the past for alignments, they definitely know what they were doing with lifted rigs/large tires etc...

I got SWR if anyone needs to tune an antenna.

Hey Y'all who is down for another meet up on the 12th of June?

Hey without going through this thread, where are you meeting? I am on Bainbridge so my ferry $$ and timing and travel schedule might make it a super pain in the ass.

June is ugly travel wise, out the 5-13th, 19th, 23-27th (good thing RCR has all the TRD wheels he needs:rofl:).
