Long time reader, first time poster. Looking for intel on a seat bracket conversion from 60/40 bench to 74ish buckets on my 40. Her birthday is July of 72. A decade or so ago I just welded a few pieces of square tubing to the 60/40 frame which allowed me to get 3 of the 4 corners of the drivers seat bolted down. The inboard rear bolting point of the drivers seat just hangs in mid air. Anyone know of a conversion seat bracket that would fairly easily bolt in and let me use the later bucket seats correctly?

If your want to use Land Cruiser bucket seats why not just use the bracket from the seats. I installed 74 seats into my 68 thirty-five years ago.

Wow, you guys are fast to respond. I don't have the brackets that mount to the floor for the buckets, just the seats. Could probably find some though. Will the towers that match the later buckets bolt up or will the drivers seat tool box be in the way?

as said the stock brackets from the 74 make it simple .just have to drill some holes .its been awhile i dont remember dealing with the tool box
