Can anyone point me in the best direction for new seat belts and hardware for an '82. I've looked at S.O.R. but was wondering if anyone had other ideas. Thanks!

try a local junkyard find a similar year toyota truck/sedan passenger side less wear the belts themselves are almost identical (you can rethread the belt with your existing belt harness just dont let the spring go or you will end up with a mess when pulling the old one off)...the jumpseats you can use the rear seat middle seatbealt almost the same as well good luck....
do you have to have new or just need a set? I have some from a 79 Ill send you.

Mine are crap. I was thinking I'd go with new. Are yours in good shape?
New is your friend, I went with a set from Auto Zone.
If you think about how old the fabric is on the belts and what they have been through on a 25-35 year old vehicle, I would suggest new.

I'd go new....kinda like used car seats for infants...you don't wanna trust your safety (or your family's) to belts that are really old and could have been through one (or more) accidents. Spend the dough for new....

Seat Belts - cool cruisers
I purchased the front seat belt systems from cool cruisers and my only complaints are the retractor sometimes locks when extending the belts and he I have to let if fully retract and then try again. Also, the seat belt just reaches the buckle. I wish the belt was longer.
My set up bolts into the side of the hardtop, so I don't know if this is how your will be configured, but I give them a 5 out of a possible 10.

same with mine ccot seatbelt makes me crazy. I go to look out and see the tire or something and it locks up makes it to see the rocks
I am wondering if anyone has had any luck replacing the belt receptacles with something that has the wiring for the dash light? Both CCOT and Cruiser Solns replacements lack this feature...
