searched but Can't find the answer... what bumpers will fit on my 2001 lx470

I am looking to get a bumper in the 1400 range

does the ironman fit?
does the arb bull fit (I dont want the sahara)

looking for more of a bull bar setup for deer / elk protection

The dissent fits for sure. I have one on mine. There are multiple configurations for the upper hoop.

Dissent^^^^. Check www.sleeoffroad.com for ARB and Slee. Not sure if TJM is importing bars for the 100.

Also of note, there is a lip that you will need to trim off for a 100 series LC bar to fit onto an LX properly. @benc pointed this out to me during HIH on my Dissent kit that I welded myself.

Another consideration if you want a full hoop with headlight protection is that the LX grill opens with the hood and the LC does not. Good question to ask a vendor about if you buy something that doesn't state it fits the LX.

The ARB combo bars (both 98-02, and 03+ versions) fit just fine on the LX. I installed a 03+ from Cruiser Outfitters on our 2000 LX470 with zero issues. Just need to remove the top "arial tabs", which takes 5 mins.

That looks amazing with the ARB and tundra wheels. What fog lights did you install on the bumper?

I highly recommend you check out BIO: Custom Front Bumper For Toyota Land Cruiser I just got the new bumper without a hoop. I feel like my truck could lead convoys in Iraq. If deflecting large wildlife were a concern, I'd go right back to Mike for sure. The weight penalty over other bumpers is surprisingly small. I also can't say enough about how nice it was to deal with Mike.

What fog lights did you install on the bumper?

Those are Jeep JK LED fog lights (amazon $55) I did a little modification to fit. I think I have another thread on here somewhere about it. Coupled with the LED headlights the road illumination is amazing, and doesn't blind on coming traffic.

Here is what the ARB looks like on my 99. I got mine because it is crash tested, air bag compatible, and designed to take out Kangaroos at full speed. We have quite a few small deer and javelina around my house so those were important features to me.

x2 on BIO and Mike. Earlier this year a deer ran out in front of Mike in his 100, the bumper did the job.

They all will fit your truck.

You just have to decide what design you prefer and what you need it to do- some are more bulky, boxy looking, others are sleeker with better approach angles, some have smaller winch boxes than others limiting the winch options, some are foot forward mount some aren't, some have better design for strength & weight savings.

You can't go wrong with BIO or Dissent which are very good quality custom made to your needs but plan to wait a couple of months for your turn in line, slee is very well thought out but no available upgrades and its pricey, and then there are the off the shelf options you can get this week from ARB, TJM, Ironman.

look at a 06' LX470 tomorrow (Today's 04' LC100 was a bit of disappointment) - So the ARB Deluxe Bull bar (3413190) will fit the LX470 with no modifications ?

Also - i start a separate thread but the height adjustable suspension, i'm assuming i can ditch it and go OME ?

ARB will fit, you just have to cut the top light tabs.

Yes you can ditch the AHC and go to a standard suspension, there are many threads on this.
