According to Billstein they will not be coming out with a 6112 for the Gen 1 Taco. That sucks. Oh well I guess Ill save myself some coin and go with the 5100s.

They have been released for the Tundra. They should fit the taco. I don't know about valving. The 5100 for 4runner, tundra, and sequoia are the same I belive. Unsure about tacos but I'd start by comparing 5100 p/n.

The t100 rears are the way to go with a mild lift. IIRC, the Tundra's rear has a rubber bushing on bottom and a bolt on top. Similar to the front strut, minus the coil.

Do you know the part number?

No. I saw Wheelers Offroad had posted information on TundraSolutions. I think they were supposed to start shipping this month.

07+ Tundra will be released next week. 10+ 4runner/fj is out now, 03-09 4runner/fj next week, 05+ tacoma this week.

I have the prototype set for the 00-06 Tundra on my truck now, these should be released in 6 months+

Its next to go into development.

I already went the 5100 route. Im hoping to get them installed this weekend. Maybe Ill upgrade down the road if they ever come out with gen 1 6100s.

Well it took a little longer that I thought due to a few unforeseen problems but I got the suspension put under my truck today. 5100 all around and Wheelers Multileaf add a leaf in the back. And OME 881s up front. (Man those were a pain to get compressed) So far so good.. Ive got about 20 miles on it and it is riding way way better. I had to cut the right from shock out, the bottom bolt was seized in there pretty good. I ended up replacing it with a grade 8 bolt until I can get a few bolt ordered form Toyota. I got a little over 3 inches of lift on the front and back. I expect a little sag but not too much.

Now I just need to find some decent tires and rims.

Today I ordered 5 33x10.50R15 KM2s. If they don't fit on my Taco, they will go on my 40, but I hope they fit under my Taco. I think I am going to have to hammer down my pinch welds, but that looks like it should be pretty easy.

Is anyone else running 33 10.50s? Id love to hear your thoughts.

Here ya go. 15x8 with -12B soft 8 style steelies. I've got a full set of cheap aluminum parts house spacers all around. I had to run it in the front to be able to clear the brake calipers. If/when I do it over again I'm going with a metric equivalent of a 32/1150 on a 16 or 17" wheel. Something with a little more poke. These tires are good, but they'll blind up quick too. Depending on the mud the wheel speed to clear them usually sits you on the frame. On dry loose dirt they perform excellent. Pavement yields good manners as well and not too loud.

Ive got 15x7 aluminum wheels off a 2000 Taco so I don't think I ll have caliper clearing issues. I don't rock the mud too often here in CO, so it will be snow and just crawling around the mountains. Nice looking truck btw. What bumper is that?

It's an EliteOffroad, but the guy doesn't build them anymore. His partner is/was still in business but I can't think of his company name right now.

You may have some clearance issues with the tires if you run the stock wheels.

If they rub I put spacers on them. But hopefully not.

You'll run out of front lug length pretty quick. If you go that route, look into getting a set of rear lug bolts from an '03 Corolla or Matrix.

look what came on the UPS truck today.

I see you've got 5 of them. I removed the spare tire brackets from under the bed on mine. Then I had some spare plate laying around and used it to make extensions to widen the gap between the brackets to accept a 33" spare tire. I don't have pics handy, but I may be able to link them.
