My friend ordered one yesterday with a lead time of 12-16 weeks per the invoice.

I ordered my Gobi ladder on August 8th, it shipped on September 30th.

Scat, how do you like the Gobi rack? Is it worth the premium price?

Nice- hopefully his is as quick. Unfortunately he ordered on or soon after Black Friday...

Just realized you only got a ladder! Dang!

The Gobi rack is awesome. There’s quite a few options out there now but it’s hard to beat the overall quality and style you get with Gobi. Definitely worth the premium and the wait on build time.

Swapped the KO2's out with General Grabber ATX's, really liking this tire so far. Quiet and well mannered while still being great in the dirt.

Cheers,

Hey, Scat, did you ever run 285s and your Pro rims with the factory UCAs? If you did, did you need wheel spacers?

Last week I had the CBI rock sliders color matched to the bumper and this morning I had them welded on at Agile Offroad. The sliders look awesome and the welds are very high quality, no complaints. Agile Off Road mostly specializes in conversion vans/campers and they did a great job installing the sliders and at a fair price, they even rattle canned the welds afterwards.

Great looking truck!

I'm new here. I just got a GX470 and I found your thread while doing some research. I just wanted to say thanks for all the time an effort you've put into this thread and answering so many questions. I just read through this and I feel like I found the answer to almost every major mod I was considering. Kinda cheezy I know but seriously, your effort and responsiveness has made my research on my new car cake! you da man Scat.

Looking for a lift or combo to save towards. I just traded my T4R that was a mixed bag of Bilstein shocks, Eibach and Metal Tech LTs for a 2003 GX non-KDSS. How do you like the overall ride on road and perfromance offroad of the ToyTec system? For the price, you can't beat what you're supposed to get. Compared to the alternatives like Icon and Fox, it looks like the Toytec BOSS Extend Travel coilovers would be a good choice for the front (Rear I'll probably go with Metal Techs again, unless you really like the Superflex coils) And seeing you have a steel front bumper which I also plan to add, I'd like your opinion on that lift. TIA

Bought the GX with 150k miles on it, the lady who owned it worked at a Toyota dealership and kept it really well maintained.

Stock picture the day I brought it home, immediately removed the running boards;

@youngpreacher I really like the 2.5 Toytec coilovers up front. They are basically just rebranded Sway-a-ways so the build quality is top notch and the ride is superb. No complaints.

I actually swapped out the Toytec Superflex HD's in the rear for Icon's 3" Overland springs. The Superflex's were nice but if you carry a decent bit of weight when camping or trailering you will see some sag. I installed Airlift bags in them to counter the sag and those definitely helped but I was tired of filling them up every time I went out, and when the truck was unloaded the bags inflated made it ride pretty stiff. The Icon's seemed like the best option for me as they are progressive springs and I have not noticed any sagging even when fully loaded up and trailering two dirt bikes. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Installed the GOBI roof rack and the ladder. Added OZ-USA mini trail lights to the front (2 spots, 2 floods) and a 30" multi colored light bar for the rear;

Cheers!

So I was in the market for the ARB touring rack you had before this. Any reason you decided to change racks? I'm just curious as I weigh my options while shopping around for a rack.
