I searched and didn’t see this discussed here but I was led to it because I just inherited my Dad’s Ford diesel. It is the Insight CTS 2 and I did buy it and started using it. I do not have any affiliation with Edge but it seems to be more extensive than the Scangauge which I also have.

Insight CTS2 | Edge

The Ford 6.0 diesel is something that has developed some problems and it seems a high majority of the owners are using The CTS2. I am going to run it in my Land Cruiser and see how it goes. Has anyone tried it out? If it works with the LC too I may just sell my Scangauge.

It will work with your Land Cruiser just fine (or any other OBDII equipped vehicle) but many of the features it provides will prove extraneous.

My take on it...is that it is best suited for Diesel powered vehicles, particularly those that have been 'tuned' or modified.

At three times the cost of a ScanGauge...I wouldn't buy one specifically for the Land Cruiser...but you could certainly make it do 'double duty' one vehicle to another.

Just my .02 on it.

It looks like a slick unit.

My take, there is a substantial cost increase for the CTS2, mounting becomes a bit of an issue, and the size of the display would make an attractive "theft target" compared to a scangauge mounted on the steering column.

Ultragauge and the Torque app seem like more attractive alternatives to me. (I use Torque in my vehicle, we use a Scangauge in my son's vehicle.)

Ultragauge is what I have used for +7 years, better features (auto dims, larger readout, etc).

Or even tucked up in the overhead console. Almost completely out of sight.

The venerable ScanGauge is pretty hard to beat.
