Scammer in Charlotte area (1 Viewer)

Anyone seen this cruiser or know this guy? A guy in Israel bought a cruiser from a guy in Charlotte on eBay, and it was a complete scam

Yea. Looking at that listing, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole, even if I could look at it in person but thought I’d let everyone know just in case since he is in the nc area

A lot of red flags in the ad for anyone who's ever bought a car before. FYI he paid $18k plus whatever the import cost into Israel is, I'd be pissed too. I'm really curious to see ebay's protection guarantee in action that isn't your average $20 item.

IDK, $18k is above the small claims limit; that sounds like it could be prosecuted as a felony. Even by a foreigner, because the DA would do the litigating and filing as a criminal offense. Of course, that doesn't help they guy who's out the money; that would be a civil action. But, a criminal conviction counts, and can be evidence in a civil case.
