In Jeep world its known as the Central Axle Disconnect and I assumed the ram was similar.
Its geared to 5.13 (pretty sure) been a year since I did gears now. It's does ok. But 6.0 will help a lot when I got a stepper hill. It down shifts pretty good now.Well done… looks to be a very capable rig, did you re gear or wait til your 6.0/6L80E is done?
flip the fork over, lock it in place and disconnect the vacumm lines. My YJ has been like that for 20 years. This doo-hickey.

The I understand the Ram setup isn't quite as easy to lock up. My old YJ and MJ had the actuator flipped and locked in place, but I was curious how OP deleted the whole Ram setup. New tubes and shafts were a good solution.flip the fork over, lock it in place and disconnect the vacumm lines. My YJ has been like that for 20 years.
Especially considering he has to offset passenger anyway etc.The I understand the Ram setup isn't quite as easy to lock up. My old YJ and MJ had the actuator flipped and locked in place, but I was curious how OP deleted the whole Ram setup. New tubes and shafts were a good solution.
