Okay,
I had this up for a very short time but I have since put a lot of time and work into this rig to bring its beauty and finesse back out. I am listing it back on here to see what bites I get, I am looking to re deploy again and not sure if I wanna park it another year or more now letting it sit, so see if I can get some of my investment back and if not, NO WORRIES...... This truck gets so much attention and it was at a friends shop and he said he had at least ten people stop wanting to know if its for sale, well I figured I would put it back here where it was born first. The truck drives straight down the road now that it has new rubber and the suspension has been re aligned and set back into place.

The truck was built by another member here and CREDIT to him is due of course, great job with it. I took it and cleaned it up, fine tuned some glitches that needed to be fixed through out it making it a even more worthy rig on and off without any issues to be had) :steer: I have gone through the truck top to bottom replacing:

5 Wheels / Tires (16 inch steel Rock Crawler with 345/75/16 KM2's) NEW
sunroof $$$
New front windshield
speakers with 6.5 inch kickers
wiper blades
headlight bulbs,
installed trailer wiring harness
4 pro comp off road lights with dual toggle switches in cab
rear window motor
fluids gone through
suspension re aligned and set
new hi lift 60 inch jack
rear brake pads,
axle seals
waxed all of the dead paint
cleaned in and out
lubed everything
New weather tech mats
fire extinguisher
fender flares done with bed liner
fuel sending unit and fuel pump while in there

Sure more but you get the idea.....anything broke, not working was fixed

Just rolled over into 166k but runs like a champ and will last a long time as you can see it's been well maintained and all that could go wrong has been replaced or fixed by far.

Please only serious buyers and no negative comments in the thread, play nice as always. Yes, the pics are out front on a street, I just cleaned it up and its some drive to get into proper YOTA land, so if you have any questions please ask. No rust on bottom, was ran through some clay by previous owner, washed it but some of it is just dried like a beast to exhaust etc, probably need a harsher chemical but it is mean't for the dirt so I didnt push it cleaning that hard underneath, just wanted to make sure everything was cleaned, operational and in line etc. I re-painted a lot underneath to touch it up so no rust would ever think about finding a home on it.

Thanks for LOOKING

Driveshafts: Custom built by Advance Driveline 1 ton shafts with 1430 joints, fully balanced and ride with NO vibration.

Suspension: fully custom set up (leaf srpings front and Rear) Custom Made for ride quality and Flexx. Vehicle rides AMAZING on the highway, and flexes very well on the trail, Bilstien shocks on the rear, and Doeschtech shocks up front. Rides like a Caddilacc on the highway, with NO vibrations, NO weird noises, no rattles, NO NOTHING,,, very firm vehicle

Custom bulmpers front with a 10K SUperwinch. Rear Swing away rear bumper with spare tire and gas can holders. Custom Sliders. ALL TUBE is of 1 7/8 DOM 1.20 wall thickness (bullet proof)

Tires: 37" TSL Superswampers with internal balance beads, ride well down the road but are noisy. Will need tires in the next 6 to 7K miles. I would put radials on the truck if you plan to drive it on the road a lot.

CHaractoristics of the truck: Stops on a dime with the 1 ton brakes (very impressive) I just drove a 3200 miles road trip to GSMTR from Florida to Virginia, to Tenn, then back to Virginia, then back to FLorida. and it ran FLAWLESS the whole time getting 16.2 average MPG @ 65MPH Reciepts and GPS pics to prove) I drove the trails @GSTMR and never put a wrench on the truck. VERY TOUGH TRUCK. Mechanicals are METICULOUS maintained, and the interior is in amazing shape. Even the steering wheel (under the cover) is in new condition. Drives straight with no pulling. Steeringwheel is straight when driving down the road, No weird things. Feels solid, and safe when driving. ENgine compartment look like brand new. Has new TOYOTA/Aisen alternator, newer spark plugs, K and N filter (using factory box) and a fresh battery (3 year full replacement warranty DryCell) Windows are tinted (not illegal)

Reason for selling: After many changes I have had throughout the last 2 years: Moving, job changes, and the recent purchase of a new airplane, this truck gets out on the trail like 4 times a year, then sits in a garage for the remainder of the time (I will bring it out randomly for a run to the store) but it just does NOT get the use it needs) and I am spending a lot of time flying. Starts and runs EVERYTIME. Drive it California and back right now with no issues (that is what I built it for) PERFECT for a family of 4 with dogs to go on wheeling trips LOADED with gear!!!!!!!

Even my wife wants this rig.

EDIT: My wife and I have both wanted this rig, from the first time it was being sold here. Now, here it is again, albeit with a new price tag - which would be fair, considering the amount of work into it.

Yes, its great rig, a do ALL for sure, and I have gone through it with any and everything I could, save someone the headache and or work and some money. I am just ready to take on a new assignment and have pondered re listing it here because of the pure fact that there will probably not be another one alike... I just feel right now I might not be stateside for some time as I thought I would be, and it's a lot for my family to keep up with, and doesn't deserve to sit but I will figure something out regardless if need be. Stay Safe

So Sick! Time and work really show in the quality, Great job. I really like your bumpers and sliders, where did you pick those beasts up? are they custom made? Can I have them??? haha GLWS

They are custom fabricated all around by previous owner. Very solid, feel sorry for anyone who wants to play crash with it..........hopefully NEVER though! Sorry, it would take baby jesus to remove them.

I just have to sell the Camry AND the 80, then I could swing it.

The build-up on this truck has me thinking hard about the practicality of an 80. Seems like you're getting the mileage that a built 80 would get plus the torque and of a lightly-stressed 8 over a possibly overmatched (or under-geared) 6. This looks like the perfect family wheeler. (I hope I haven't just started this thread down the path to chit-chat. Like Yoda says "Defensiveness leads to flames. Flames lead to anger. Anger leads to the ChitChat" :D

Back to the topic at hand:
Is there a build thread somewhere around here?

Does it still have a 3rd row?

Can I see some pics of the rear tire-carrier? Is it a swing out?

Cheers,
-C

I saw this for sale before...sweet rig for sure!

more information- NEW PRICE

Tire carrier does swing out completely to get into the rear hatch, its just two pins pulled out and it opens with ease. Tire carrier is custom fabricated but works flawlessly and is tough as possible. It does not have the 3rd row seat, sure you can pick one up and slap in it if you wish as it used to anyway. Anyone really serious, message me or call 254 338 6139, and I can send more pics or discuss sale.

$18500

THanks
Dallas

Okay.......price update

$17,800

This is a great rig, and is a true driver daily if you wish, just have to see in person and drive to be amazed by this one of a kind rig.
