Jim, :hhmm: There are so many paths of advice to take here....

I guess the first question is... does her size bother you... If NO... cook for her if you like her...if it does bother you... be a gentleman and bow out for some other to take your place one day.......

OR JUST START POUNDING THE :beer::beer::beer::beer: and chalk it up to a BAD DRUNK DECISION..:meh:

myquest, yes I have ridden a moped, just didn't want anyone to see me on it.

reevesci, not much would bother me, except I think my wife might have a slight problem with me cooking at her house.

R...looks good. Is that a '2 for me one for you' dealio? ;)

Leftover tri-tip with sauteed shiitake mushrooms, sliced raw orange bell pepper and jack cheese atop Killer Dave's Blues Bread (Portland).

I have lighter rate coils sitting in the garage for the spressoWAGON...maybe I need to rethink leaving the heavier rate 868s on...:D

I don't think there would be leftovers if that's what you're asking :D

Reminds me of a DDD I saw last week...they did light battered and fried lobster on a stick with a dipping sauce. And that reminds of another recent DDD where they did similar with pork belly confit. I might need to start dieting now :D

Kid and I made burgers and baked the fries. Little onion and garlic minced with black pepper in the meat. Sorry bought the cole slaw. Kid likes them a little on the well side so mine came out the same.

The Junkyard Dawg on Crack

I don't know if this counts as a sandwich, but it is definitely a creation.

Background: me and my son made some "Junkyard Dawgs" for our local club's annual ride - the Under The Bridge Tour, which takes place on some outlaw trails in the bad neighborhoods of Memphis. Think burnt out cars, mud, unsavory characters, atv's, etc. Anyway, we've always stopped for lunch under one of the highway overpasses.

The dogs were sausage style - big casing, coarse grind, but with good meat and hot dog seasonings. We used filet trimmings for the beef, smoked pork jowl for the pork and smoke and fat, and chicken breasts so we could call it healthy. We added spices I found from a hot dog recipe online and ran the whole thing through the meat grinder.

We were planning to cook these on an overturned shopping cart, but couldn't find a stray that wasn't made of plastic or plastic coated. So we cooked them on a rigged up grill under the N. Hollywood St. overpass next to the river. I wish I could describe the smell. I can't, but I'll try - imagine the smell of a steak on the grill, the smell of sizzling bacon, and the wonderful smell of small batch, artisan-crafted hot dogs all rolled into one smokey aroma, but better...

We served them up with potato salad, beans, and slaw from a local BBQ place, The Commissary. The potato salad is the best on the planet and has been nicknamed "crack salad" a while back. The beans are also made with crack, I believe.

While eating this plate of awesomeness, and with the flavors mingling in my mouth, I briefly lost consciousness for a moment and had a vision - a junkyard dawg laid atop a bed of crack slaw and then cushioned on both sides with a sprinkling of crack salad and crack beans.

I came to and, despite being full, tried to recreate what I had seen in the vision.

I present to you... The Junkyard Dawg On Crack:
